Leading Journal of the Irish & UK Fishing Industries

There has been a tremendous amount of interest in Scottish Skipper Expo 2020 (15 and 16 May), with 150 companies confirmed as exhibiting so far, and many others looking set to sign-up over the next few weeks.

As well as a new name, this year’s expo also has a new venue at the recently opened and ultra-modern P & J Live exhibition arena in Aberdeen, providing superb facilities. It also offers extra space, enabling some exhibiting companies to book larger stands this year, including Jackson Trawls of Peterhead.

Mark Buchan of Jackson Trawls said: “The main reason why we are doing it is because we are agents for Bridon Ropes and they were keen to share the stand with us and promote their fantastic range. The new exhibiting arena in Aberdeen is a fantastic venue and the extra space provided gave us the perfect opportunity to enlarge our stand.

“We are looking forward to Scottish Skipper Expo and meeting with existing and new customers.”

Other notable highlights include a strong representation of companies from Killybegs in Ireland under the umbrella of the Killybegs Harbour Development Group. As Ireland’s most important fishing port, and with strong cluster of support and services companies, this will prove a strong attraction for many visitors to Scottish Skipper Expo 2020.

There are still spaces left for companies looking to exhibit, please contact Sharon Boyle at Mara Media for more details, 00353 868401250, or sharon@maramedia.ie
