Irish Skipper Expo 2027 Returning to Galway

The organisers of the Irish Skipper Expo are pleased to confirm that the event will take place at the High-Performance Centre, Dexcom Stadium, Galway, on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th May 2027 — reaffirming Galway's long-standing connection with the Expo, where the event was first established in 2007.

Held biennially, Irish Skipper Expo brings together fishermen, vessel owners, suppliers and service providers from across Ireland and beyond. The move to the High-Performance Centre at Dexcom Stadium — home of Connacht Rugby — provides a modern, purpose-built facility to support the Expo's continued growth.

“Galway has always been a natural home for the Expo, and we are delighted to bring this news to the industry. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2027 for what we are confident will be a well-supported and worthwhile event for all involved.” Sharon Boyle, Commercial Fishing Manager, The Skipper

Anyone interested in being part of Irish Skipper Expo 2027 is strongly encouraged to register their interest at this early stage by contacting Sharon Boyle directly — with planning already underway, this is an ideal time to signal your intention to be involved.
