Scottish fisheries have continued to lead the move towards MSC certification. With eight Scottish species MSC certified, the Scottish industry is sending out a positive message about its sustainability.
The MSC is also working on Fishery Improvement Projects on 8 key commercial UK fisheries, through Project UK. It uses the MSC process to identify data gaps and highlight where improvements and investments can be made to provide a sustainable future for UK fisheries and UK boats.
