Marine and Industrial Transmissions or MIT, have recently reflected on its participation at the Irish Skipper Expo in Limerick, hailing the last event as a significant success. “Our latest attendance at Skipper Limerick, and happy to say this was one of the most positive shows I’ve ever had in Ireland. From our service offering to gearbox supply, and all things electrical, it felt like we barely stopped for two days.

MIT received great interest in their future propulsion offerings from owners, operators, boat builders, local bodies and government which they found to be truly surprising, One spokesman for MIT had added, “It’s not often we run out of leaflets and brochures”, demonstrating the how viable the fishing and marine industry still is.

“The tide has certainly turned with people’s opinions on marine electrification as we had countless conversations on what solutions are available and how we can help make it happen.”
