With the Irish Skipper Expo just over 4 months away, Shipyard companies have been confirming their attendance to the anticipating event. As the marine industry evolves, boatyards across Europe are playing a key role in driving innovation and supporting both commercial and recreational vessels.
Amongst those confirmed are Irish companies such as, Mooney boats, G Smyth boats, Murphy Marine services, Ryan and Roberts Marine Services, Padmos, Bere Island Boat Yard, Seabound Engineering, with Parkol Marine joining from the UK and Navalu from France.
Based in Killybegs in County Donegal, Mooney Boats Ltd is a family led company and have been a key figure in the boat yard industry for over 44 years. At Mooney Boats Ltd, their expertise spans to construction, maintenance, and repair of a diverse range of vessels across multiple industries. Ryan and Roberts Ltd Vessel on Display
For over three decades, Ryan & Roberts Marine Services have been the moulders and builders of Lochin fast offshore craft and suppliers and installers of Beta Marine engine and generators.
“Ryan & Roberts are pleased to announce that the first of a new range of Lochins based on the 366 mould, the Lochin 410 is now at the advanced stage of completion. This first 41’ Lochin is being built as a P5 for corporate charter on the west coast of Ireland, powered by a pair of 420 HP FPT engines, this new vessel will be launched for preliminary trials late 2024.”
“This new development will allow Ryan & Roberts the flexibility to mould from 36’ to 42’ based on the Lochin 366 mould. The extra length and volume in these hulls should be ideally suitable for both fishing and charter applications.”
