Having attended the Irish Skipper Expo for the first time in 2023, A.K Watersports have experienced a huge growth in sales of their inshore fishing supplies as a result of meeting an influx of new customers at the show.
Based in Burtonport, Co. Donegal, A.K Watersports supplies a wide range of products for the mackerel and pollack hook and line fisheries.
“Our product range includes ready to fish traces, hooks, mono lines in different test strengths, swivels, crimps, PVC and luminous tube in a variety of colours, dive boards, towing lines, mackerel rollers, squid jigs and attractor lights,” says owner John Boyle.
“We also stock fishing rods and reels, metal lures, plastic and jellied lures, feather and bait rigs for the shore and boat angler.
The small family business, operated by John, and with the assistance of his two children Aaron and Kayla, A.K. Watersports place great emphasis in finding and developing quality products to enhance their customers’ fishing experience. As well as a full catalogue of inshore fishing supplies, A.K Watersports also stock a wide range of Watersports products including wetsuits, life jackets and warm fleece robes.
