Over the last year, Teignbridge has invested over €2m in facilities, staff and new machinery. In particular a €1m Mazak mill for full machining of propellers to a much finer tolerance than cast and polished.
Marks adds, “We also have a new ‘Innovation & Technology Department’ managed by Dr. Saeed Javdani PhD, CEng that specialises in using CFD and other advanced design software to provide optimum designs for all our customers in each marine sector. For this years Irish Skipper Exhibition, this new department will be focusing heavily on efficiency and fuel economy”
Having exhibited at the Irish Skipper Expo in the past, Teignbridge Propellers are looking forward to returning to showcase their new products and innovations to the Irish customers.
