Launched at the skipper expo 2019,  the MMG Welding Compact Gangway Systems ® are now fast becoming an essential part of the safety equipment on vessels.

Currently it is used throughout Europe and the choice of gangway for some of the state-of-the-art vessels being built, with orders from companies such as Parkol Marine in the UK, Karstensens in Denmark, Nautic in South Africa, Cemre in Turkey and Svitzer in the UK.

MMG secured a worldwide patent on Compact Gangway Systems, which features a unique folding mechanism designed to provide safe vessel access and storage solutions for vessels with limited deck space.

The two products in this range are Port to Vessel (PTV)  and Vessel to Vessel (VTV).

Built to the requirements of DNVGL – ST-0358/ISO 7061 :2015, it adjusts automatically with tide levels and includes a GRP anti-slip walkway ensuring optimum safety.

This product won a European Commercial Marine award at the Innovation Showcase held at Seawork Southampton, Europe’s leading commercial marine and workboat exhibition.
