The Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport has been advised by Vermilion Exploration & Production Ireland Limited of an electrical fault finding campaign at the Corrib subsea infrastructure.

The workscope of the operation includes:

  • Subsea Electrical Fault Finding and Repair
  • SCM Replacement (contingency only)

The works are due to commence approximately 18th September 2020 and will last for up to 10 days.

The subsea fault-finding investigation and repair works will take place at the Corrib field location below.

The “Edda Sun” (call sign: LARF7), will undertake the subsea scope of work. All equipment used will be vessel and/or ROV mounted.

The vessel will be listening on VHF CH 16 throughout the project.
