Scottish Skipper Expo 2026 Continues to Build Industry Momentum

With over four months to go, Scottish Skipper Expo 2026 is already shaping up to be a key gathering for the commercial fishing industry. “It’s fantastic to see so much early commitment from exhibitors and suppliers,” says Sharon Boyle, Commercial Fishing Manager at The Skipper, “and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to what promises to be an outstanding two-day event for the whole sector.”

Seven vessels are now confirmed to exhibit, with more than 135 stands already sold. This early commitment reflects the industry’s confidence in the show and its long-established role as a trusted meeting point for skippers, crews, and suppliers.

This year’s event will take place at P&J Live, Aberdeen, on Thursday 7th May (10am–5pm) and Friday 8th May (10am–4pm). The Expo is proudly supported by our long-standing show sponsors, the Scottish Fishermen’s Federation and Peterhead Port Authority, whose continued backing highlights the show’s importance across the sector.

The latest companies to join the exhibitor line-up include Ness Marine, Garware Technical Fibres, AP Lifting Gear, Boris Nets, Finning, JCF Marine and Caithness Marine, further broadening an already strong showcase of equipment, services, and innovation. Their presence ensures visitors will have access to a comprehensive range of leading suppliers.

As in previous years, a warm welcome awaits at the Show Reception, taking place on the evening of Thursday 7th May at the Douglas Hotel. This informal gathering provides an excellent opportunity for exhibitors, skippers, and guests to meet in a relaxed setting and enjoy valuable time together as an industry community.
