Hercules Hydraulics will be returning to the Scottish Skipper Expo in Aberdeen with their comprehensive range of hydraulic equipment specifically designed for the fishing industry.
Stand 103 will feature examples of their Fishing Winch, Chain Gypsy and other fishing related equipment.
The single drum, lightweight, heavy-duty Fishing Winch is designed specifically for trawling or beam fishing, and the other similar applications. Featuring an automatic fail-safe brake system and an optional emergency brake release function, the capacity of the unit can be specified to suit individual customer needs.
The Chain Gypsy was launched at the Aberdeen expo last year and its versatility was quickly demonstrated as three of the first projects completed involved equipment with different specifications. One was specified for 14mm chain, another for 20.5mm chain and a third for 24mm chain.
Designed to simplify the lowering of an anchor chain into a locker, the mild steel Chain Gypsy features a devils claw and a manual brake with an emergency release and can be specified with a drum to suit any size of anchor chain.
