Following a £3m investment from the UK Government to research and improve propeller designs and efficiencies, Teignbridge has the most advanced CFD and design tools available today. The company’s Design Optimisation Programme can run 500 design iterations in 48 hours to optimise a propeller design for any vessel.
In addition, they also use CFD to analyse the underwater appendages so that the bracket, nozzle and rudder work in harmony with the flow of water into and out of the propeller.
