Leading Journal of the Irish & UK Fishing Industries

After an incredibly successful first year, Marine Fire Safety (Scotland) is delighted to be returning to the show once again, to showcase their full range of marine fire and safety equipment and services on stand 136.

Marine Fire Safety (Scotland) is a local company based in Fraserburgh, with a specialist and experienced team who are dedicated to ensuring the best level of support and service to their established and growing customer base, covering the whole of Scotland.

As a business we offer both Stat-X and CO2 engine fire suppression systems, including installation, commissioning and servicing. The team will be on hand to assist visitors at the show, with their individual engine-room servicing and supply requirements.

Marine Fire Safety has extended their product offering, by becoming a supplier of some of the industry’s most popular brands of safety equipment. Liferaft hire is a key part of the business, offering fishermen a cost-effective alternative to purchasing. The team will be on hand at the show to discuss the benefits of the liferaft hire programme and options available. Additional items include pyrotechnics, liferafts, lifejackets and immersion suits.

The Workboat 1.2.3 fire and safety management package, which was launched at the show last year, continues to receive great reviews and will be a returning feature at the show. Designed to ensure fire and safety equipment is always serviced and in date, with hassle-free surveys and equipment delivered directly to a vessel, this package offers customers a cost-efficient ‘one-stop-shop’ approach for all their sales, service and hire requirements.

Scott Duguid, MD at Marine Fire Safety (Scotland) comments; ‘Skipper Expo gives us the perfect platform to connect and re-connect with our customers in the commercial fishing industry. Although a local company, we have a large customer base across the whole of Scotland and it is important that we stay engaged and find new ways to support them.”
