With doors opening in three days, set-up is now well underway for the widely anticipated Scottish Skipper Expo 2022. Over 180 exhibitors are set to arrive on site on Thursday to add the final touches to their stands, ready to welcome visitors on Friday morning from 10am.

The strong exhibitor presence, including many new companies attending for the first time, will ensure there will be plenty to interest everyone, with virtually every equipment and support service sector of the fishing industry represented, including marine electronics, deck machinery, creels and trawl equipment, and so much more.

Sponsored by the Scottish Fishermen’s Federation, the event aims to bring everyone in the industry together again after a difficult few years. The new P&J Live arena also offers more space, better facilities and an enhanced overall visitor experience, ensuring that it will be a fantastic event to attend.

There will be a vessel display, giving visitors the opportunity to see some of the latest fishing vessel designs on the market.

At the end of the first day of the expo (13 May), a special reception will be held at the Douglas Hotel, Aberdeen at 7:00pm. Sponsored by Sunderland Marine and Commercial Oils, the event promises to be the perfect opportunity for everyone to relax and socialise after a busy opening day. Fresh seafood will be supplied by Messers J. Smith Fish Merchants, GJ Jack Seafoods and MFV Sunrise, and expertly prepared by the catering team at the Douglas Hotel. The event, which will feature live music, will be open to all exhibitors and their guests on an invite basis.

Scottish Skipper Expo 2022 will be held at P&J Live Arena in Aberdeen on Friday 13th May (10am-6pm)  and Saturday 14th  May (10am-4pm).
