P and D Marine Services Ltd will be at the 2024 show as ‘Roodberg Ireland’, highlighting the capabilities of Roodberg and their well-known hydraulic trailer launch, recovery and handling systems.
Speaking of their involvement in the Irish Skipper Expo 2024, James Burnell, Operations Director with P and D Marine Services says, “We are hoping to have a working model of one of the trailers, along with some good videos and of course ourselves.”
Roodberg have been in existence for over 70 years and have built an enviable reputation for high quality innovative products. The first hydraulic trailer was built over 40 years ago and is still in use today!
Multiple trailers are delivered globally every year, and Roodberg have recently updated most of the designs to include new modern technologies and features. Not only do Roodberg produce their ‘bright yellow trailers’ that many people may have seen, they also do a simple range which are ideal for power driven vessels such as fishing craft – these are available in up to 15T capacities. These normally ‘off the shelf’ types are budget friendly and very easy to use.
Roodberg produce trailers with capabilities from 5T up to 100T. The full range can be viewed at www.roodberg.com.
Expanding on P and D Marine Services industry experience James says, “we are known across the UK as the ‘boat yard people’ – most of our staff are highly experienced in boat yard operations and management, indeed our company strapline is ‘boat yard solutions, brought to you by boat yard people’. We don’t just sell equipment, we identify the needs and requirements, so to find the best solutions. We’re also know for providing free advice in this highly specialist area.”
Roodberg products can be shipped direct to Ireland, thus removing any concerns around customs and import duties/ taxes.
