After two years, Scottish Skipper Expo 2026 brings the commercial fishing industry together once again in Aberdeen — a focused, two-day event and the only opportunity this year to meet the sector face-to-face and do business.

Taking place next week at P&J Live on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th May, the Expo is proudly supported by the Scottish Fishermen’s Federation and Peterhead Port Authority and remains a key date in the 2026 calendar.
Built by the Industry, For the Industry
Since its inception in 2011, the Expo has been built on strong industry support. Established at the request of the fishing sector itself, it has grown steadily while remaining true to its purpose — serving the needs of the industry.
That continuity is reflected in the organising team, with Sharon Boyle, Niall Duffy and Hugh Bonner having worked closely with exhibitors and visitors from the outset, building lasting relationships.
A Truly International Showcase
Now held every two years, Scottish Skipper Expo has attracted even stronger support from across the industry — bringing together more companies than the previous show and delivering a broader, more comprehensive line-up for visitors to experience.
With strong international participation, the Expo offers a comprehensive showcase of the latest vessels, equipment, technology, and services shaping today’s fishing sector.
Among the well-known UK and Scottish names including Furuno, Macduff Shipyards, Parkol Marine Engineering, Finning and Macduff Diesel, alongside international companies such as Karstensens Shipyard, FF Skagen and Zamakona Shipyards, and regular Irish exhibitors including Seaquest Systems, KT Nets, KER Group and Swan Net Gundry, the Expo continues to demonstrate the strength of support it receives.
Whether you are involved in vessels under 10 metres, larger vessel operations, or part of the wide range of shoreside and service businesses that support the fleet, there is something here for every part of the sector.
Vessels at the Heart of the Show
A standout feature once again will be the display of seven fishing vessels inside the exhibition hall, including new exhibitors Ness Marine and North Coast Workboats, alongside long-standing supporter G Smyth Boats, who has been part of the Expo since the very first event.
A Taste of Scotland at the Show
Within the exhibition hall, visitors can enjoy Seafood Scotland’s popular tasting area, serving crab claws, mackerel pâté, and Cullen skink across both days.
