BIM is pleased to announce a new service to support members of the fishing sector. This new service will assist fishermen in successfully completing grant applications and providing clarification on queries related to BIM fisheries grant schemes.
Tom Scanlon, BIM’s Investment Services manager will provide a one-to-one service, either in-person or by telephone. This service is primarily aimed at those who experience difficulty in the area of Information Technology (IT) and completing forms on-line. The service will include:
- Managing the grant application process – application through to completion including use of the online system.
- Provide guidance in relation to eligibility criteria and backup required to achieve a successful application.
- Assist in the completion of the Inshore Fisheries Economic Assessment Scheme second online survey due to be completed and submitted by 09 February 2025
- Facilitate regional workshops or webinars in relation to the planned new grant aid online application platform. These will be rolled out in tandem with the reopening of EMFAF grant aid schemes on the new grant platform. The expected timeframe for this is Q1 / Q2 2025
- Other grant related advice as required.
