At Mooney Boats Ltd, their expertise spans the construction, maintenance, and repair of a diverse range of vessels across multiple industries. Comprehensive onsite facilities include a 75-ton boat hoist, a state-of-the-art machine shop, an indoor boatyard repair shed, and the DAFM syncrolift facility capable of lifting vessels up to 600 tons.

With a dedicated team comprising in-house carpenters, electricians, and BV-certified welder fabricators, we ensure holistic solutions for all aspects of vessel care. Specializing in a range of maritime services, including MSO and Class-approved inspection reports, newbuild construction, repairs, maintenance, annual ultrasonic inspection, NDT testing, CNC cutting, as well as painting, shot blasting, and water blasting services.

In the first half of 2024, Mooney Boats is gearing up to deliver a 14-meter aluminium multi-purpose crew transfer vessel, meticulously constructed to adhere to the high standards of Bureau Veritas I (Iron Cross) Hull Special Service/ MSO Rules/ UK Workboat Code/ P5 License, enabling versatile operations throughout Europe.

Another notable achievement this year includes the successful delivery of the MFV Wave Crest, a 27-meter fishing trawler proudly flying the Irish flag and boasting Bureau Veritas classification.

Reflecting on the accomplishments of 2023, Mooney Boats Ltd marked significant milestones with the completion of two state-of-the-art 31-meter trawlers, the MFV Sparkling Star and MFV Eilean Croine. Both vessels, classified by Bureau Veritas and bearing the Irish flag, are integral additions to the Irish fishing fleet.
