The Irish Skipper Expo is delighted to welcome new exhibitor Martin Cloney who will display a range of scale models boats.
Having grown up near Kilmore Quay, Martin (also known as Murt) has always had an interest in boats of all kinds.
Speaking of his decision to turn his passion into a business, Murt says, “ I have been making scale models boats as a hobby for a number of years and have displayed them at shows to raise money for the RNLI.
“I makes models of all types of boats, lifeboats trawlers and yachts and having been approached in recent years by a number of boat owners to make models of their boats, I decided to turn my hobby into something more.
“I am looking forward to displaying some of my models at the 2024 Irish Skipper Expo, it’s something that visitors can interact with and I will be on hand to present information on the process and finished products.”
