From its origins in Kilmore Quay to a purpose-built facility in Rosslare Harbour, Jimmy Walsh Propellers & Marine Engineering Ltd, trading as One Stop Prop Shop, has spent over 30 years supporting Ireland’s fishing and commercial marine sector.
Founded by Jimmy Walsh in 1994, the business has grown into a specialist operation focused on propeller repair, re-pitching, and full stern gear services, working across a wide range of vessel types. Today, Jimmy is joined by his sons, David and Ciarán, ensuring the continuation of a family business built on experience, skill, and long-standing customer relationships.
A key differentiator is its investment in propeller scanning and dynamic balancing technology, making it the only operation of its kind in Ireland. This allows the team to provide precise measurement, ISO-certified reporting, and improved performance for vessel operators.
Recent additions, including portable scanning systems and hydraulic pitch adjustment equipment, further enhance the workshop’s ability to deliver accurate, efficient solutions both on-site and in-house.
