Leading Journal of the Irish & UK Fishing Industries

Headquartered in Cork, Green Rebel are a member of the local Irish offshore wind supply chain and employ a team of over 80 scientists, engineers, ecologists, vessel crew and business practitioners across three primary divisions: Marine geophysical, Aerial and MetOcean, across Cork and Limerick.

As one of the first movers in the Irish Offshore Renewable Energy supply chain, Green Rebel are highly motivated by Ireland’s potential to become a leader in offshore wind and aim to lead the charge in using the most sustainable methods of data acquisition.

With the goal to minimise any disruption with other marine users in order to ensure the successful and sustainable growth of the offshore wind industry in Ireland, Green Rebel will once again attend the Irish Skipper Expo to share information about the survey work they carry out for offshore wind developers and provide a greater understanding of the workings and impact of non-intrusive geophysical surveys.

Speaking about the event, Mia Piccoli of Green Rebel stated, “We aim to ensure these developments progress in a way that benefits Ireland and the Irish people. We will be at the show to answer any questions and explain how we approach geophysical surveying. We would be happy to describe the technology on board our vessels and our data acquisition processes.”
