The doors opened at P&J Live at 10am this morning, with visitors filing in to check out the Scottish Skipper Expo 2023. The energy coursed through the aisles of the spacious arena, with each of the exhibitors experiencing brisk business on their stands.
Sponsored by Scottish Fishermen’s Federation, the event was officially opened by Chief Executive Officer Elspeth MacDonald and Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Land Reform and Islands, Mairi Gougeon, who then toured the stands to witness the fantastic innovation taking place in the industry.
Sharon Boyle, Commercial Fisheries Manager for show organiser Mara Media, said: “With over 170 exhibiting stands, it is wonderful to see so many people here and engaging with exhibitors. We are delighted with the visitor attendance so far, with people being able to conduct business in a friendly and convivial atmosphere.”
