Garware Technical Fibres will exhibit at Scottish Skipper Expo 2026 for the first time, presenting its range of high-performance fishing nets and ropes on Stand D04.
With over 50 years of experience, Garware supplies the commercial fishing industry across more than 75 countries, exporting approximately 12,000 tonnes annually and generating over €150 million in revenue. Garware offers complete end-to-end solutions for trawling and purse seining. Its in-house fabrication unit provides the expertise to design and customise a wide range of trawl systems, while one of the world’s largest net lofts in India produces ready-to-use bottom and pelagic trawls, as well as purse seines.
A team of over 1,000 specialists works closely with customers on fishing gear and aquaculture cage design, ensuring practical and efficient solutions tailored to modern fishing operations.
Key products include SNG, Sapphire, Olivine, and Ruby nettings, along with customised cod-end options. These are engineered to deliver minimal shrinkage, high abrasion resistance, reduced drag, and improved fuel efficiency.
Garware also supplies pelagic trawls across Europe, Africa, and Russia, alongside thermostabilised purse seine nets designed to maintain mesh integrity. A proprietary high-temperature dyeing process enhances durability and long-term performance.
In addition, the company provides solutions for the shellfish sector, including pot nets and specialised crab lines for both Scottish and Irish markets.
