Scottish Skipper Expo 2026 Gears Up as Show is Promoted at DanFish

Planning for Scottish Skipper Expo 2026 is already progressing at an impressive pace, with more than 110 companies confirmed to exhibit, including a significant number of new participants making their debut at the show.  This marks one of the strongest early responses in the Expo’s history, underlining its importance as the premier gathering point for the commercial fishing industry.

The exhibition will take place at P&J Live in Aberdeen on 7–8 May 2026, where exhibitors from across the UK, Ireland, and Europe will showcase the very latest in vessel design, equipment, technology, and services.  Four vessels are already confirmed for display inside the venue, offering visitors the rare chance to step aboard and experience first-hand the innovations driving the sector forward.

New and Returning Exhibitors
The strong early line-up includes established names such as FF Skagen, Atlantic Shipping, Karstensens Shipyard, Hundested Propeller, Gael Force, Seaquest Systems, Swan Net Gundry, and Jackson Trawls. Among the new companies joining for 2026 are Catch Cam Technologies, Eyemouth Marine, DE Marine Hydraulics Ltd, Scot-trawl, and SMART OCEAN TECHNOLOGY UK, adding fresh energy and expertise to the Expo.

This combination of returning and first-time exhibitors promises visitors a diverse showcase of products, services, and innovations across the commercial fishing sector.

Networking & DanFish International
Industry events like the Scottish Skipper Expo are vital for companies to connect, showcase, and stay ahead of sector developments.  Sharon Boyle, Commercial Fishing Manager with Mara Media, will be attending DanFish International next week in Aalborg, Denmark, to meet with exhibitors and stakeholders and to further promote the Scottish Skipper Expo 2026.  Companies attending DanFish are encouraged to contact Sharon directly to arrange a meeting.

“We are delighted to see such a strong level of commitment to the 2026 Expo at this stage.  The fact that so many new companies have chosen to come on board highlights the show’s reputation as an essential platform for connecting with the fishing industry.  With more than 110 exhibitors already confirmed, we are confident this will be one of our most dynamic and wide-ranging events yet,” said Ms. Boyle.
