Established in 1977 on Union Quay in Cork City, Union Chandlery have been supplying the marine industry nationwide for over 45 years.
With a large customer-base in Ireland both instore and online, Union Chandlery has attracted many suppliers worldwide in recent times. The company have also moved premises to Doughcloyne Ind Est in Cork, now avoiding the congested city centre and making it easier for customers to park up and browse instore.
Union Chandlery has been at the forefront for all things marine and also for introducing new products, concepts and technology from around the world.
Explaining Union Chandlery’s product range, Managing Director, Roger Betts says, “Part of our core business is our range of hoses. We supply exhaust hoses, cooling water hoses, drinking water, fuel, fuel filler, hot water ,hydraulic, sanitation and bilge hoses.
“All exhaust hoses are tested with Lloyd’s approvals. The range runs from 40mm to 300mm in exhaust alone and we have over 70 different types and sizes of hoses in stock to choose from.”
With a committed staff that have many years of technical experience and a genuine interest in responding to catering to their customer’s needs, Roger says, “We listen to the market and respond to what they need in order to have it on the shelf and ready to ship overnight when required.”
